Job Description
Summary
This job involves providing physical therapy to incarcerated individuals at a state correctional facility in Iowa, creating personalized treatment plans, guiding exercises, and tracking patient progress.

Key Requirements
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist by the Iowa Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners

- Skills in assisting patients with exercises using equipment like parallel bars, mats, weights, pulleys, or gait training

Full Job Description
Provides treatment services for patients or incarcerated individuals as referred or prescribed by medical provider using physical therapy techniques or modalities.*Develops individualized physical therapy treatment plans based on study of clinical records, observation, or physicians' referral: confers with medical and other staff in regard to an overall treatment plan for patients and/or incarcerated individuals.
*Assists patients or incarcerated individuals in exercise using parallel bars, mats, weights or pulleys, or other equipment; administers gait training in conjunction with developed treatment plans.
*Evaluates progress of patient or incarcerated individuals in relation to treatment applied.
