MILITARY GRADES: E4 through E7, WO1 through CW3, or O1 through O3 COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS: 17 series, 35 series, and 42 series.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately.
Able to apply procedures and directives by reading and interpreting technical material. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing, using presentation and report formats.
Demonstrated ability to follow directions, to read, understand, and retain a variety of instructions, regulations, and procedures.
Learned ability to assess the surrounding environment to recognize immediate risk levels.
Must have the education and validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade for one of the seven organizational program disciplines and its applicable Security Series career.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience, training, and/or knowledge in progressively responsible work that demonstrates the candidate's full competency (Knowledge, Skill, Ability, and Behaviors) to perform tasks and responsibilities as described in the pertinent position description.
It includes military administration, military security, and/or personnel management experience that prepares the applicant to perform the duties and responsibilities to achieve the required competency levels as defined by the applicable position description..
Ability to determine eligibility for access to classified and controlled unclassified information and granting personnel security clearance and access in the presence of minor derogatory information.
Skill in oral and written communication sufficient to write reports, conduct presentations, and/or clearly communicate personnel security processes, regulations, or training.
Knowledge, training or experience in security police, information security, sensitive compartmental information, force protection, anti-terrorism, information protection, security police training, and/or physical security.
Must have at least one year of equivalent specialized experience to the next lower grade level.
