Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves working as a psychologist focused on researching and improving how the Navy manages its personnel and talent, including planning programs, evaluating research proposals, and ensuring everything aligns with the organization's goals.
A good fit would be someone with a background in psychology who enjoys analyzing data, leading projects, and supporting military or government initiatives to develop better ways to recruit and retain talent.
You will serve as a PERSONNEL RESEARCH PSYCHOLOGIST in the TALENT MANAGEMENT CENTER OF EXELLENCE (TMCoE) of NAVY PERSONNEL COMMAND.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparing analytical and programmatic material to support organization's recommendations; 2) Leading/evaluating research proposals and products to identify support requirements and soundness of proposed programs; 3) Ensuring contracted work supports the overall program strategy; 4) Providing input on annual and multiyear long-range works plans and schedules.
