This seasonal job with Pennsylvania's Department of Transportation involves operating heavy equipment to clear snow from roads, control traffic, and handle related maintenance tasks during the winter months from September to April.
It's ideal for someone with a commercial driver's license who enjoys hands-on outdoor work and wants to help keep communities safe on icy highways.
The role pays $23 per hour and can lead to full-time permanent positions.
As a Winter CDL Equipment Operator, you will perform a variety of duties during the winter season, such as snow removal, traffic control, equipment repair and maintenance, guide rail repair, and loading trucks with winter materials; stocking the salt and/or skid deliveries.
