As an Equipment Operator with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety and reliability of the Commonwealth’s roadways.
Your work is especially critical during the winter season, when effective snow removal is essential for protecting the traveling public.
In addition to winter operations, you will support a wide range of construction and maintenance activities that directly influence the quality of Pennsylvania’s transportation infrastructure.
This position involves physically demanding tasks that require teamwork, coordination, and dedication.
You will operate heavy equipment, perform routine maintenance and minor repairs, and maintain accurate documentation that supports efficient and accountable operations.
