This part-time role involves helping run testing services at a technical college, including administering placement tests, high school exams, and online proctoring across multiple campuses while supporting students with information and guidance.

Full Job Description

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Admissions/Enrollment Service Operations, the testing specialist assists with administration of college placement testing services, high school testing, administration of make-up and proctored testing, and online testing, and provides information and support for prospective and current students seeking to utilize testing services on multiple campuses.

Requirements

An Associate’s Degree with demonstrated related administrative experience or a high school education and one (1) year of demonstrated related work experience.

This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office; effective oral and written communications skills; sound judgment; and the ability to work well with the general public and other faculty and staff members.

Additional position requirements:

  • The ability to deliver effective service to prospective and current students in a supportive and professional manner.
  • Flexibility to work in a multi-campus environment with possible evening hours required
  • Flexibility in work hours depending on testing schedule.
  • The ability and willingness to travel to multiple testing locations as needed.
