Job Description
The Building Brains Anywhere Recreation Leader will be responsible for performing a wide variety of administrative support duties, which may include record keeping, data entry, filing, and providing critical support to ensure smooth operations of the facility and K-12 field trips, afterschool, and summer camps programs. The incumbent must display flexibility and exemplary oral and written communication skills, as this position will also be representing the organization while answering phones, providing facility tours, explaining procedures, and helping set clear expectations to a variety of internal and external customers.

Essential Duties
  • Performing a variety of clerical functions, which may include typing, answering phones from the public and legal community, filing, copying, faxing, opening and distributing mail, and/or performing other related activities
  • Handling incoming communications from internal and external stakeholders with positivity and professionalism
  • Responding to inquiries regarding facility programs, events, and volunteer opportunities
  • Maintaining and updating multiple calendars for scheduling facility educational programming events
  • Assisting with registration of K-12 programs, summer camps and daycares
  • Recognizing and advocating for community outreach and partnership opportunities
  • Supporting the planning and execution of community-based educational programming and events
  • Performing additional duties of a similar nature or level as assigned
Public Speaking Duties
  • Providing detailed and engaging facility tours to customers, highlighting facility's features and amenities
Hourly rate
$16.80/hour

Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license
  • High School diploma/GED
    • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications in addition to the above minimum qualifications
  • Associate's degree in hospitality, facility/building maintenance, or property management AND
  • Two years of experience in rental/hospitality and/or facility/building maintenance
  • CPR/First Aid certification (must obtain within 90 days of hiring)
