Juvenile Probation
This part-time housekeeper role at Travis County Juvenile Probation involves cleaning and maintaining offices, restrooms, and other areas in county facilities to keep them neat and safe.
It includes tasks like sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, operating cleaning machines, and securing buildings, often in secure environments with a flexible schedule.

Performs custodial duties to keep County facilities clean and orderly. Cleans and maintains the appearance of offices, floors, restrooms and other facilities.
Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds/carry up to 25 pounds, visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Subject to standing, walking, sitting, repetitive motion, reaching, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, pushing, pulling, balancing, client/customer contact, squatting to perform the essential functions.
Subject to contact with hazardous waste, foul odors, animal and human fecal matter, insects and rodents, and exposure to outside elements.
Travis County employees play an important role in business continuity. As such, employees can be assigned to business continuity efforts outside of normal job functions.
