This job is for a paramedic instructor at a community college in South Carolina, where you'll teach emergency medical courses both in person and online, develop lesson plans, advise students on their careers, and manage program resources like equipment.

Teaching Performance - Instructs courses in accordance with the approved syllabi and CoAEMSP standards.
Provides students with appropriate course materials (syllabus, calendar, policy statements or guidelines). Adheres to course competencies in the preparation and delivery of quality instruction.
Provides appropriate and timely feedback to students. Maintains a positive environment for optimum student performance.
Instruction includes assessment planning, student performance tracking, and evaluation of Paramedic curriculum. Effectively instructs live and online courses.
Instructional Management -Maintains records and documentation required for students according to accreditation standards. Maintains equipment and supplies utilized in the program.
Inspects and ensures equipment is in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Performs inventory control. Completes required reports and course documentation
Professional Development: Seek ways to keep current in the teaching field.
Develop an annual professional development plan (with short and long-range goals) in keeping with the College’s mission and institutional goals.
Participate in appropriate courses, seminars and workshops especially those that introduce new ideas or practices.
Possesses and maintains appropriate healthcare credentials, to include National Registered Paramedic Certification or Certified Paramedic
Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS
Knowledge of instructional methods with teaching/training experience in requisite Paramedic skills instruction
