About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to Marketing.
This is a Regular Part-Time position, guaranteed 20 hours per week with benefits to include, Health, Dental and Life Insurance, 401k, NAF Retirement and annual and sick Leave.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Working knowledge of design/publishing software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and/or Premier Pro or similar required.
Comprehensive knowledge of business, administrative practices of a retail or hospitality industry, and a wide range of marketing concepts, principles, methods, techniques, practices relating to marketing, merchandising, promotion, and advertising are required.
Knowledge and experience to edit written material, graphic layout, photography, and printing processes. Ability to analyze problems, identify significant factors, gather data to recommend solutions.
Must have cash handling experience Major Duties:
Under the direction of the Marketing Director responsible for implementing and overseeing 56 FSS Responsible for the economic and efficient management of the FSS marketing department.

Effectively supervises FSS Direct staff, oversees recruitment, manages payroll and training of personnel. Manages a small store selling a variety of over-the-counter merchandise.
Research, interprets, analyzes.
and applies marketing, NAF resale and commercial sponsorship guidelines to enhance the resource allocation to FSS, and establishes policies and procedures for all programs.
Develops supporting strategics and designs data collection techniques. Directs use of surveys or programs and services.
Creates and recommends promotional programs to increase sales in revenue-generating activities, including advertisements for publication in newspaper ads, billboard displays, etc.
to inform customers on programs and services. Develops promotional themes to perpetuate established promotional goals and objectives.
Works with activity managers on the design and implementation of product merchandising and services and develops specific publicity campaigns.
Oversee the creation and overall marketing media such as brochures, flyer's. posters, etc. for activities and special events.

Initiates clearance sales, coordinates pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities, and determines additional needed sales promotions.
Markets merchandise by studying advertising, display plans, and sales promotion; analyzes operational and financial statements for profitability ratios.
Functions as a POC for all base solicited and unsolicited commercial sponsorship and advertising ventures for all possible sources including corporations.
individuals, direct mail solicitations, foundations, fund-raisers, etc. Prepares written proposals, agreements, and other documents for use in soliciting commercial sponsorship or FSS activities.
Ensure contracts are written IAW Air Force commercial sponsorship and advertising guidelines and regulations.
Ensures sound financial policies and procedures are in effect that reflect corporate compliance with Air Force S1andards. Ensures daily paperwork/ deposits are completed and submitted on time.
May be required to operate a government vehicle. Comply with EEO concepts and security directives and maintain an appropriate work environment.
Establishes an internal performance management system to ensure proper assignments and reviews evaluation of employees' performance. Performs other duties as assigned.
