Full Job Description

You will serve as a OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST of NAVAL SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY.

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-14) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a applying quantitative, analytical, and evaluative methods and techniques to conduct analysis of business operations, activities and capabilities to identify relevant variables and present alternatives to address issues and problems for resolution.

Examples of creditable specialized experience includes managing complex defense weapon systems cost analysis processes including cost estimating, acquisition cost, and Integrated Program Management (IPM).

  • You will direct and lead staff by developing goals and objectives and conducting resource allocations.
  • You will serve as the liaison to program offices, functional directorates and external customers.
  • You will design and implement strategies which maximize efficiencies and foster innovated approaches to meet the organization’s mission, vision, and goals.
