Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-11. Advanced degree + significant experience.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team to analyze costs and find ways to save money in naval operations, such as improving how things are bought or using better technology.
You'll create strategies to make operations more efficient and present your findings to help make big decisions.

You will serve as a OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST in the FORCE READINESS ANALYTICS GROUP of COMMANDER NAVAL AIR PACIFIC.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Work as a professional operations research analyst leading a team in developing and implementing cost optimization strategies and identifying cost saving opportunities (e.g.
operational effectiveness, procurement adjustments, technological enchantments) to improve financial performance impacting Naval operations.
