Full Job Description

You will serve as a OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST in the FORCE READINESS ANALYTICS GROUP of COMMANDER NAVAL AIR PACIFIC.

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Work as a professional operations research analyst leading a team in developing and implementing cost optimization strategies and identifying cost saving opportunities (e.g.

operational effectiveness, procurement adjustments, technological enchantments) to improve financial performance impacting Naval operations.

  • You will advance the organization's cost and supply management efforts, enhancing efficiency.
  • You will develop and implement cost optimization strategies and initiatives.
  • You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the cost analytics team, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and priorities.
  • You will develop and present detailed reports, charts, tables, and presentations to summarize research findings and support strategic decisions across the Naval Aviation Enterprise.
  • You will develop new procedures, techniques, or theoretical frameworks to provide rigorous scientific bases for conclusions.
  • You will conduct research, trend analysis, and statistical reporting to inform and shape policy recommendations.
