About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f.

Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U. S.

CYBER COMMAND, FORT MEADE, MD. Who May Apply: Only applicants who meet one of the employment authority categories below are eligible to apply for this job.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position.

Specialized experience would be demonstrated by: 1) Creating operational annexes or designing combatant command support strategies.

2) Refining operational procedures to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness. 3) Revising Combatant Command plans and working with partners to document plan ramifications for execution.

Major Duties:

  • Incumbent conducts planning for full spectrum cyberspace operations (CO) in anticipation of crisis and contingency operations, IAWJP 5-0.
  • Leverages partner capabilities in the development of operational level plans that ensures unity of effort among multiple organizations.
  • In support of the CCMDs, facilitate the timing, phasing and execution of full spectrum cyberspace operations, addressing deconfliction and other issues as they arise, which results in mission success.
  • Provides strategic, operational, and tactical level expertise in support of the development of USCYBERCOM and Geographic Combatant Command support plans.
