About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Davis Monthan AFB Bowling Center. This is a Flex position.

Flexible positions are guaranteed 0 hours but may work up to 40 hours per week. ???????This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools and techniques to support Bowling Center office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, report, spreadsheets, etc.

Skill in typing. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing to include the ability to deal with diverse population from young children to adults.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Major Duties:

The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative and clerical work in support of the operations and programs of the Bowling Center.

Uses various computer software programs to prepare correspondence, reports, forms, briefings, and/or statistical data.

Receives telephone calls and visitors, routes, and files correspondence, and maintains files. Schedules appointments and meetings and coordinates with supervisor as necessary.

Compiles data, statistics, and reports in support of program operations and effectiveness. Ensure all food program records are accurate, up-to-date, and readily available.

maintains office files and records. Conducts search of records and follows up to resolve discrepancies and informs supervisor of any issues/problems that cannot be resolved.

Promotes, organizes, and schedules open and league bowling and special events. Conducts or ensures conduct of bowling classes.

Ensures that maintenance and preventive maintenance are performed on all bowling-related facilities and equipment. Ensures appropriate bowling equipment and supplies are on hand.

Organizes and coordinates special functions ensuring customer requests and contractual obligations are met and proper protocol is practiced.

Responsible for cash accountability, accounting, inventory, property, and facility management requirements. Complies with and follows through on maintenance and repair requirements on equipment.

Provides input for budgets, reviews financial results and provides explanations or variances.

Makes recommendation for menu items, pricing, food preparation and serving options, special events, bar services, etc. Maintains an active customer satisfaction program.
