Summary

This job is for an operations assistant at a military base in Georgia, where you'll handle cash transactions, assist with party setups, manage food and beverage orders, and provide customer service in a business operations setting.

This position is located within the Fort Gordon Business Operations Division.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Progressively responsible duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody or other processing of cash items. 2.

Where duties involve selling alcoholic beverages applicant must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment. 3.

Skill in providing customer service. 4. Ability to communicate effectively. Major Duties:

  • Issues, receives and controls cash receipts and change funds; verifies cash count of funds turned in by cashiers.
  • Assists in setting up parties according to party plan.
  • May monitor inventories, place and receive food and beverage orders using Food track or similar software.
  • Completes Daily Activity Report.
  • May assist bartenders in setting up bars and/or cashier's bag.
