Full Job Description

You will serve as an OFFICE SERVICES ASSISTANT in the ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENT of HELICOPTER SEA COMBAT WING PAC FLEET.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing administrative duties by utilizing a variety of office automation to review correspondence, coordinate administrative policies and procedures, and execute the personal awards process in support of organizational needs.

  • You will provide administrative services in the review and control of correspondence, preparation and coordination of administrative policies and procedures, and the control of distribution of incoming communications, directives, and publications.
  • You will make a baseline review of correspondence, reports, directives, and administrative policies pertaining to functions of the admin office for accuracy and compliance with correspondence rules and regulations.
  • You will process security clearance and visit requests utilizing current web based automated systems.
  • You will perform clerical review of recommendations for awards, medals, decorations, commendations, and other actions submitted by Staff and subordinate units.
  • You will retrieve data from various information sources for use in answering questions, responding to correspondence, or preparing reports or briefings.
  • You will process officer and enlisted fitness reports while reviewing for accuracy and compliance.
