Full Job Description

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER in the Navy Installations Command and Administration Program ofCOMMANDER NAVY REGION KOREA.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing leadership and facilitating the execution of administrative services, administrative analysis, periodic reporting and budget oversight.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Commute area is defined as the geographic area surrounding the duty location in which people can reasonably be expected to travel back and forth daily. Major Duties:

  • You will manage, oversee and provide a variety of administrative, military and civilian personnel support, personnel and information security, and administrative support services to the command.
  • You will develop administrative and support services program policies, practices, and processes that ensure the efficient flow of information, correspondence and administrative services throughout the command, and installation tenant activities.
  • You will establish activity documentation, reports, and records management operating parameters and requirements in accordance with DOD/Navy guidance.
  • You will develop and prepare command directives, operating procedures and handbooks/guides for the administrative and support services programs.
  • You will collaborate with departmental representatives to negotiate, implement and/or coordinate administrative changes.
  • You will formulate the budget submission for the Region staff.
