Requirements


As the Office Manager, you will:
  • Supervise one full-time employee and other seasonal/volunteer staff
  • Provide administrative assistance to management team
  • Manage, coordinate and advise region on personnel/HR actions
  • Uses computer skills to complete a variety of assignments
  • Anticipate needs of the region and welcome new assignments with excitement and flexibility

Qualifications

Required/ Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel are a must), google suite, and general computer skills.
  • Must be able to easily navigate the Internet
  • Must have prior customer service experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with others
  • Must have previous office experience
Preferred/Additional Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of hunting and fishing regulations
  • Knowledge of cash register operations and cash handling procedures
  • Ability to use office equipment (e.g., copiers, scanners, postage, etc)
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload

Additional Information

Working Conditions:
  • Risks found in the typical office setting, which is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated, e.g., safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc.
  • Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items; driving an automobile, etc. Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.
  • Occasional risks found in potentially dangerous or unusual environmental situations, when helping regional staff conduct field work (e.g., depredation, wildlife management projects, and check stations).
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
