This job involves supporting administrative tasks at a naval college, such as handling office paperwork, preparing course materials, managing travel arrangements, and creating reports using computer tools.

No advanced degrees are needed, but typing speed and basic software proficiency are essential.
You will serve as a Office Automation Assistant in the College of Maritime and Operational Warfare of the NAVAL WAR COLLEGE.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Operating computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite or similar application to create, copy, edit, and print forms, memos, and letters; 2) Interpreting and providing metrics and/or generating reports; 3) Managing and tracking various actions in support of other administrative functions; 4) Coordinating travel through a web-based travel system according to regulations and providing travel support and; 5) Communicating effectively in writing and verbally while providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
