This job involves supporting probation and parole officers by monitoring offenders' compliance through reports, community contacts, and technology, while handling administrative tasks like reviewing financial obligations.
It's a non-sworn role focused on managing caseloads for standard-level offenders under supervision.
A good fit would be someone with a background in criminal justice or related fields who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with routine monitoring duties.
Under direct supervision, responsible for non-sworn Probation and Parole Law Enforcement Officer duties by monitoring compliance or using technology in the management of the caseload.
Performs compliance monitoring on Standard level offenders to include conducting required non-field related progress reports and community contacts; reviews offender financial obligations and other special conditions of supervision.
Responsible for performing administrative duties; managing, coordinating and assisting in the performance of other specific related duties.
A high school diploma and relevant program experience. A bachelor’s degree may be submitted for the required program experience.
A high school diploma and 3-5 years of work experience directly related to criminal justice (i.e. probation & parole, law enforcement, corrections) or armed services; or a bachelor’s degree may be submitted for the required program experience.
