***This posting will be used to fill one summer internship position in the Safety Office.***In the area of Occupational Safety and Health, the responsibilities includes:
Assists with maintaining and updating the SCDOT employee safety manual, policies, forms and other resources made available electronically and are accessible in accordance with Federal regulations.
Researches and provides recommendations to policies, processes, Safety & Health webpage, SCDOT Safety Manual and other resources statewide.
Requirements
Applicants must be accepted into or currently enrolled in a two-year or four-year college or university program in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Public Health, Environmental Science, and Industrial Hygiene.
