Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job is for a lead nutritionist in a public health program that helps low-income families with nutrition support, especially for pregnant women, new moms, babies, and kids.
You'll assess nutritional needs, provide counseling and education, and guide other staff while coordinating programs at a community health center.
It's a great fit for a registered dietitian who enjoys working with diverse communities and has experience in maternal and child health.

Public Health – Seattle & King County WIC program is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Nutritionist II (Registered Dietitian) to join the Columbia City team.
The Nutritionist II is a lead position that provides support and work direction/training to WIC staff, and is also responsible for performing the full scope of Nutritionist duties, providing nutrition program coordination for our site.
Duties also include individual and group nutrition assessments, counseling, education and evaluations; in addition to planning, coordinating, and evaluating nutrition programs for the site and community.

Work Schedule
Typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm – 40 hours per week. Workdays, hours and location may vary depending on business need.
These hours are subject to change with advance notice. This is a non-exempt position and is subject to the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is overtime eligible.
Work Location
Primary work location for this position is at the Columbia City Public Health Center, located at 4400 37th Ave South, Seattle WA 98118.
Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
