In this position, you will lead the planning, organization, direction, coordination, and evaluation of nursing service operations at WeSH.
You will ensure the continuity and quality of patient care by overseeing nursing services that align with established policies, procedures, professional standards, and individualized treatment plans.
Your responsibilities will include evaluating nursing care and treatment practices to ensure compliance with medical, psychiatric, and nursing protocols while promoting optimal patient outcomes.
You will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care, support quality improvement initiatives, and uphold risk management standards.
As a leader, you will guide and supervise nursing staff in the delivery of professional, patient-centered care, fostering excellence in clinical practice.
Additionally, you will contribute to the development and continuous improvement of nursing policies and procedures while promoting staff development through ongoing education and training opportunities.
Serving as a key resource for nursing personnel and other disciplines, you will play an integral role in advancing the overall quality and effectiveness of patient care.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Six years of professional nursing experience, which includes one year in a supervisory or consultative capacity providing nursing care and services for people with a mental or physical injury, illness, or developmental disability; and a bachelor's degree in nursing, nursing education, or nursing administration.
A master's degree in nursing, nursing education, or nursing administration may be substituted for up to one year of the required general professional nursing work experience; or
Special Requirements:
All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
