Job Description

Summary

This role involves leading a team focused on counterterrorism analysis in the Near East region, where you'll supervise staff, guide analytic projects, and help shape strategies to protect the US from threats.

You'll work closely with senior leaders to boost team performance, innovation, and morale while ensuring high-quality intelligence products.

Key Requirements

  • Experience evaluating and developing first-line supervisors, senior analysts, and executive officers, including providing career development counseling and skills feedback
  • Ability to serve as a supervisory and analytic resource, teaching and guiding team chiefs while delegating responsibilities and empowering employees
  • Collaborate with the Group Chief and other deputies to shape and implement group vision, emphasizing customer impact, creativity, innovation, workforce development, and high morale
  • Leverage expertise to contribute as a corporate resource across the Directorate of Intelligence (DI), National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC), Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), and Intelligence Community (IC)
  • Drive the group's analytic program to meet highest Intelligence Community (IC) tradecraft standards, utilizing NCTC's unique data accesses and tools
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a diverse, highly qualified workforce, ensuring they receive challenges, rewards, support, tools, training, and opportunities for success

The National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) leads the nation's effort to protect the United States from terrorism by integrating, analyzing and sharing information to drive whole-of-government action and achieve our national CT objectives.
