To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements: Education: There is no substitution of education for specialized experience for this position.

Experience: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level.

To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular qualifications to perform successfully the duties of the position, and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled.

Some examples of this qualifying experience are: Experience in process/quality improvement techniques and strategic planning.

Experience analyzing data and making recommendations based on that analysis. Experience developing and conducting formal training or presentations.

If applicable, credit will be given for paid and unpaid experience. To receive proper credit, you must show the actual time (such as the number of hours worked per week) spent in activities.

**Your eligibility for consideration will be based on your responses to the questions in the application.** Major Duties:

This position is located in the National Employee Wellness Branch, Human Resource Management Division (HRMD) within the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP).

Responsible for strategic employee engagement planning, analysis, and performance assessment for the BOP.

This involves supporting the accomplishment of the BOP and HRMD program goals and objectives by integrating them into long-range program plans and operational planning requirements.

Provides employee engagement guidance, advice, and support to BOP executive staff nationwide.

Creates, leads, and implements effective engagement strategies that are unique to staff working within a correctional environment.

Develops and designs employee engagement strategies and action related to the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey and other studies, data, focus groups, and surveys.

Partners with team members, leaders, and stakeholders to develop an understanding of workforce issues and employee engagement challenges facing correctional workers.

Develops and administers pulse surveys, facilitates focus groups, and conducts workforce outreach to measure success of employee engagement program activities.

Analyzes survey results and focus group conclusions and provides briefings to senior leaders and the workforce to share information and develop priorities for action.
