Responsibilities for the Mental Health Professional I:
Conduct in-depth assessment, plan treatment programs, and perform psychotherapy as well as crisis services to adolescents and their families who are at risk of disrupting their home placement or school placement, as part of the JIST Program.
Employee must provide all services and documentation in compliance with SCDMH, CARF SAMHC Quality Assurance, Transcultural and Productivity Standards, Policies and Procedures.
Available on 24/7 as needed basis to clients and their families, as well as additional DJJ/MDFT staff. Will adhere to all federal, state, and local Corporate Compliance laws.
In order to be credentialed for core services as a Mental Health Professional at the SC Office of Mental Health, applicants must provide evidence of clinical experience providing direct patient care.
This experience may be documented as a practicum or internship during graduate program, or post-graduate clinical experience.
