Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing and organizing medical records at a naval health clinic, ensuring they are accurate, compliant, and properly filed both digitally and on paper.
It also includes verifying patient eligibility for care, handling routine inquiries, and providing customer service to patients and staff.
A good fit would be someone with office experience in handling records or administrative tasks, who is detail-oriented and comfortable with both computer systems and direct patient interaction.
About the Position: This position is located within the Naval Health Clinic, Directorate of Administration, Oak Harbor, Washington. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

General experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled, such as, maintaining and processing medical records utilizing an automated and manual system to create and track medical records.
OR Education: Two years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
