This position is located at the Fort Hunter Liggett Qualified Recycling Program (QRP).

The QRP offers the Fort Hunter Liggett, CA, community a wide range of services that support the Installation and achieves the Army Net Zero goal. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Applicant must have experience in recycling activities which includes receiving, storing, shipping and inventorying of varied types of equipment, supplies, and parts.

Major Duties:

  • Receives, identifies, sorts and feeds the various recycle processing equipment with a variety of recycle materials.
  • Moves appropriate recyclable material to the bailer machine, ensuring the material is correct for the process.
  • Identifies and separates recyclable material during the sorting process, in accordance with instructions, standard operating procedures, and policies for the recycling operation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
