This job involves managing warehouse materials for the U.S.
Marine Corps, including unloading shipments, organizing storage, operating vehicles and forklifts, and ensuring smooth traffic flow in the facility.
It's a hands-on role that supports daily operations for Marines and their families.
A good fit would be someone reliable with experience in logistics or driving heavy equipment, who can work both indoors and outdoors and handle physical tasks like lifting up to 45 pounds.

What are we looking for? Must possess or be able to obtain applicable government operator permits. Must have a valid driver's license.
In-depth knowledge of the overall warehousing plan, documentation requirements, and accepted warehousing methods, procedures, and techniques.
Ability to lay out storage space and establish item and material locations in accordance with agency regulations.
Ability to prepare inventory and production reports, screen and identify shipping and receiving documents for discrepancies, and direct shipments to shipping or storage areas.
The material handling equipment must be operated at all times in strict accordance with the traffic laws and regulations. Skill in use of vehicles and forklifts. Major Duties:
What to Expect Assists supervisor in developing plans for storage and arrangement of stock in accordance with agency regulations determining configuration, setup, movement, rearrangement and traffic flow.
Reviews documents covering inbound shipments, determines appropriate unloading position of trucks and tractor trains.
Unloads shipment in receiving area, sorts material by bill of lading, consignee, and piece count. May coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments and placement of materials within docking area.
Operates vehicles such as tow motor, forklifts, and may operate trucks that have an approximate gross vehicle weight (GVW) of more than 10,000 pounds and up to 26,000 pounds for delivery of materials and perform routine operator maintenance.
Work is performed inside or outside May be required to wear protective clothing. Lifts and carries objects up to 45 lbs independently and objects over 45 lbs with assistance.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
