Full Job Description

This position is located at USAG Ansbach - MWR, Marketing Division, Ansbach, Germany. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).

A qualified candidate must possess the following: - Practical knowledge of website maintenance and 1-3 years experience in marketing.

- Must possess organizational skills and be able to work quickly in a web-based environment.

- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment under pressure to meet project deadlines and specific tasks.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": - Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe CS4 (Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Lightroom).

- Experience with Social Media content and website maintenance to include scheduling, posting, and changing content, responding to questions.

- Experience with the production of marketing plans and materials, creation of flyers and banner.

- Specialized education obtained in course work related to marketing, interactive communications or another related field.

  • Serves as the focal point of online marketing. Ensures that all content displayed is up-to-date, accurate, accessible, and conforms to higher command level and regulatory requirements.
  • Works closely with supervisor, higher level managers and Information Technology specialists in applying and implementing website initiatives. Evaluates user requirements and advises on design capabilities and maintenance responsibilities.
  • Assists in the production of marketing plans and materials. Communicates MWR program promotions and advertisement to the Installation population through flyers, posters, bulletin boards, calendars, e-mails, announcements and other media.
  • Assists in the marketing and coordination of annual MWR special event.
