Full Job Description

This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service.

It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.

It is in the Technician/Administrative Support Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure.

It is located in the DISA EII/JT INTEROPERABILITY TEST CMD- STRATEGY PLANS AND AUTOMATIONS DIV Qualifying Experience: To qualify at the GG-08, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position.

Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.

For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience collecting and analyzing data for directorates/division, processing time and attendance, using word processing software to produce a variety of documents; providing administrative support to division personnel.

All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement. Major Duties:

  • Gathers and consolidates data and conducts complex studies, analyses, and projects to assist in the performance/development of methods, techniques, procedures, and systems for program development and implementation.
  • Collects and analyzes data for various directorate/division projects such as the Joint Table of Distribution of manpower authorizations, personnel assignments, duty specialty codes, payroll statistics, security clearances, and organization reports
  • Uses word processing software to produce a variety of documents. Utilizes a variety of software types to develop, enter, revise, sort, calculate, and retrieve data for specialized reports.
  • Provides administrative oversight and direction to other Division support personnel, ensuring compliance with relevant procedures and applicable administrative requirements.
  • Serves as the primary Division timekeeper, ensuring that all time and attendance is accurately entered and that backup records are maintained and certified.
