About the Position: This position is located at Naval Medical Center, Defense Health Agency, Defense Health Network Pacific Rim, Directorate of Medicine within the Pediatrics Division in San Diego, CA.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) preparing spreadsheets and/or generating reports to analyze data; and (2) utilizing various automated databases to gather and extract data; and (3) conduct inventories and ordering of department office supplies and equipment.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).

Major Duties:

• Gather, analyze, develop, and maintain operational, manpower, and historical data to prepare a variety of reports, such as organizational structure, resources utilization, mission, function, work processes, etc.
• Input, maintain, evaluate, and compare pertinent data and information.
• Document errors and missing information, research and obtain missing data, clarify discrepancies and inconsistencies, and compile reports.
• Responsible for entering, removing, and reassigning personnel in the Defense Medical Human Resource System internet (DMHRSi) system.
• Coordinate the data quality of the DMHRSi information with the Administration Officers for each assigned directorate.
• Serve as the department's Property Custodian for accountable office equipment with the assigned departments.
• Serve as a Supply Officer to conduct inventories of available supplies and ensure office supplies are ordered using approved supply systems.
