About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f.

Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Ft.

Meade, MD CYBER EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITIONS ARE NOT SUBJECT TO THE TWO-PAGE RESUME LIMIT.

Implement federal regulations and human capital policies governing the recruitment, acquisition, and retention of cyber personnel.

Provide guidance and recommendations to hiring managers, command leadership, and higher headquarters on workforce management actions, staffing strategies, and organizational workforce planning.

Major Duties:

  • Conduct analytical and evaluative work in support of headquarters workforce management, including the development, maintenance, and oversight of the Joint Table of Distribution, Joint Table of Mobilization Distribution, and related manning documents.
  • Interpret and implement federal regulations, human capital policies, and workforce guidance governing recruitment, acquisition, and retention of cyber personnel.
  • Coordinate with organizational manpower and human capital stakeholders to ensure proper allocation and distribution of workforce resources.
  • Analyze workforce data and generate manpower and organizational reports to support decision-making.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to hiring managers, command leadership, and higher headquarters on workforce management actions, staffing strategies, and position management.
  • Develop recommendations for workforce planning initiatives, staffing strategies and compliance with federal workforce management requirements.
