Customs and Border Protection, Office of Professional Responsibility, Investigative Operations Directorate located in Washington D.C.

Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Reviewing, assessing, and analyzing documents and data including, but not limited to, case information, policies, and procedures, as well as standardizing definitions, and documenting practices to promote consistency and sustained data governance.
Assisting with coordinating, creating, developing, and preparing reports, briefings, and presentations.
Assisting in the development of and conducting training related to promoting the integrity of the workforce in support of the integrity strategy.

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is a federal law enforcement agency that requires all applicants to undergo a thorough background investigation prior to employment in order to promote the agency's core values of vigilance, service to country, and integrity.

The incumbent serves primarily as the audit management subject matter expert (SME).
The incumbent serves as the program manager and lead in facilitating all Government Accountability Officer (GAO) and Office of Inspector General (OIG) audits involving equities or interests.

The Major Duties for this position are listed below but not limited to: Reviewing, analyzing, and assessing documents including investigative case information, allegation intake referrals or significant incident reports, as well as policies and procedures regarding the methods, means, tools, and techniques utilized by IOD to safeguard and promote the integrity of the CBP workforce.
Coordinating, creating, developing, and preparing the submission of reports on action plan activities for audits in accordance with regulations, determining the appropriate form/format to be used.
Preparing external correspondence and other local correspondence to provide IOD comments and input as well as information of outcome of analysis and interpretations of policy, regulations, and guidelines.
Responsible for identifying, gathering, consolidating, and submitting information in response to inquiries.
Prepares responses comments and impact statements and recommendations on these issuances for executive leadership consideration
