Every day, District Management and Program Analysts conduct and lead diverse and unique projects to improve the performance of the District's subordinate Field Offices and to balance and equitably distribute the workload in those Field Offices.

THIS IS A TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT NOT TO EXCEED (1) ONE YEAR BUT MAY BE EXTENDED FOR AN ADDITIONAL YEAR UP TO A TOTAL OF FIVE (5) YEARS.

THE SELECTEE(S) MAY BE CONVERTED WITHOUT FURTHER COMPETITION, IF THE POSITION BECOMES PERMANENT.

SELECTEES WHO ARE NOT CONVERTED TO PERMANENT POSITIONS WILL RETURN TO THEIR FORMER POSITION OF RECORD OR LIKE POSITION (SAME GRADE, FULL PERFORMANCE LEVEL AND LOCATION), AFTER COMPLETION OF THE TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT.

GS-13: You qualify at the GS-13 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position.

You must have experience performing the following duties: Conducting studies, analyzing findings and making recommendations on substantive operating systems and/or programs that required applying knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques.

Performing a variety of analytical studies and projects related to management improvement, productivity improvement, management controls, and long-range planning.

Providing recommendations to parties dealing with various management levels throughout an agency or organization.

Resolving broad and/or complex problems and issues associated with the planning, coordination, and implementation of agency programs and activities.

  • Analyzes facts of a data request or data pull and assembles the data using mathematical, statistical, and qualitative methodologies.
  • Communicates the results of data mining and analysis in comprehensive reports to decision-makers.
  • Ensures that accurate, appropriately concise, and timely information is available to executive management officials.
