This job involves analyzing management processes in the National Guard, providing data and insights to help leaders understand operational questions like why things happen, how they work, and when and where issues arise.
It's a support role focused on reviewing maintenance and administrative functions to improve efficiency.
A good fit would be someone with analytical skills, experience in organizational support, and familiarity with government or military structures who enjoys problem-solving behind the scenes.
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a MANAGEMENT ANALYST, Position Description Number T5645000 and is part of the 109TH AW, National Guard.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training in administrative, professional, investigative, technical, or other responsible work which demonstrates analytical ability and a practical and theoretical knowledge of the functions, processes, and principles of management.
Knowledge of the National Guard organizational structures, functions, procedures, and techniques. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.
Knowledge or experience that is administrative, clerical, scientific, artistic, or technical in nature.
Experience performing a variety of internal support, review and analysis assignments supporting various segments of maintenance management and conducting consulting or advisory services under the direction of a higher graded employee.
