In this position, your primary responsibilities involve the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of the Center’s video camera, telephone, and television systems.
Duties include installing and running cables, data lines, and electrical wiring using hand tools, power tools, and drills.
You will complete final connections between equipment, data closets, electrical supply boxes, and outlets.
Responsibilities also include installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing interior and exterior video recording equipment.
Additionally, you will set up, program, troubleshoot, and repair television systems and maintain and repair telephone system infrastructure.
This role requires working safely at all times, including the use of ladders and lifts, while ensuring a safe environment for facility residents during all job tasks.
Although primarily assigned to the electrical shop, you may also receive assignments from the paint, carpentry, grounds, and plumbing shops as needed.
