Summary

This job involves hands-on maintenance work for the U.S.

  • You will plan and lay out work using blueprints, sketches, and work orders; assess and determine worksite conditions and damage; make layout changes based on site inspections; and interpret drawings to support construction, maintenance, and repair.
  • You will independently apply skilled methods and advanced shop mathematics to construct, install, repair, and modify structures by interpreting complex building plans and specifications, completing work from initial layout to final assembly.
  • You will prepare interior and exterior surfaces by removing old paint and rust, filling cracks, sanding, applying fillers and base coats, and treating surfaces with appropriate cleaning and preparation materials.
  • You will apply skilled painting methods to prepare, mix, and apply coatings, ensuring proper color match, finish, and thickness by using appropriate tools and equipment and adjusting materials to achieve required appearance and adhesion.
  • You will design, fabricate, and install a variety of signs and graphics using manual and computerized methods, including layout, pattern development, material application, and installation of sign structures and components.
  • You will utilize and maintain tools and equipment, maintain stock levels, complete required records and reports, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and hazardous material handling requirements.
