Functions as a member of the Facilities Management Department, Administration Division, Federal Bureau of Prisons(BOP), Central Office, Washington, D.C.

Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all Central Office buildings and structures. Performs a wide range of general maintenance duties in the Central Office buildings.

The Central Office building includes 490,000 gross square feet and houses approximately 2,000 employees.

Responsible for various phases associated with the construction, repair, maintenance, and renovation of buildings and related structures, grounds, fixtures, and utilities, requiring the use of a variety of trade practices such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, cement work, painting, welding, roofing, electric, HVAC, and other related trades.
