Job Description

Summary

This job involves planning and managing the full lifecycle of logistics for IT equipment and communications systems used in cyber defense operations, ensuring everything from development to maintenance keeps missions running smoothly.

A good fit would be someone with hands-on experience in supply chain or support roles for technology products, especially in military or government settings, who enjoys coordinating teams and solving complex delivery challenges.

Key Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in life cycle logistics or logistics support for products and services, equivalent to GS-12 level
  • Knowledge of developing, implementing, and validating logistics support programs and products

Full Job Description

This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service.

It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.

It is in the cyber Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA Mission Support Office.

In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.

Qualifying Experience: To qualify at the GG-13, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position.

Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.

For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience relating to life cycle logistics, or logistics support involving products and services.

  • Responsible for developing, implementing, and validating life cycle logistics support programs and products (services and materials).
  • Participates in the coordination and facilitates and directs the delivery of replacement information technology (IT) equipment supporting deployed communications platforms.
