Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing the planning, acquisition, and delivery of armored vehicles and protective equipment for the Department of State's security programs, ensuring everything runs smoothly across government agencies and overseas posts.
It requires overseeing long-term strategies, advising on regulations, and representing the division in meetings with various stakeholders.

This position is located in the Defensive Equipment and Armored Vehicle Division, Office of Physical Security Programs, Countermeasures Directorate, in the Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS/PSP/DEAV).
DS/PSP/DEAV serves as the overall coordination point and program manager for armored vehicles and related issues, and the liaison for various Federal agencies, the Overseas Security Policy Board (OSPB), and posts.

Time-In-Grade Requirements: Federal applicants must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade to satisfy time-in-grade restrictions, per 5 CFR 300, Subpart F.
Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience leading the acquisition and logistics management for specialized equipment programs.
Experience developing strategies to support the acquisition of protective equipment and vehicles. Experience preparing policy recommendations for logistics and acquisition management.
There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-14 position. Major Duties:
