You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) managing Security Cooperation (SC) programs, logistics operations, and maintenance activities, along with strong skills in policy development, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and resource management; 2) coordinating logistics and maintenance activities in support of SC programs and collaborating with partner nations to enhance regional logistics and maintenance capabilities; 3) managing budgets and resources for SC and logistics programs, including familiarity with funding mechanisms ensuring compliance with financial regulations and guidelines.
It is preferred for the incumbent to speak Spanish but not required.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
