LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Full Job Description

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing post-award contract management for complex weapon systems or commodities to identify and mitigate supply chain risks; 2) Supports the Special Emphasis Program audit requirements by supporting the auditing requirements of NAVSEA; 3) Verifies compliance of program requirements within WSS and external agencies and provides Program Management for a portfolio of critical weapon system components to ensure fleet readiness.

• You will be responsible for developing processes to track, manage and achieve on-time delivery goals and post contract award management.
• You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for commodity-related SSM suppliers, tracking supplier performance, and work closely with IWST to develop integrated solutions sets to supplier problems.
• You will prepare recommendations, complete with all supporting documentation, for the resolution and identification of areas requiring improvement or higher level engagement.
