Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This temporary role involves managing the full process of hiring new employees for a state government department, from creating job postings to screening candidates and ensuring everything follows legal rules.
It also includes building relationships with hiring managers, attending community events to attract diverse talent, and supporting fair interview processes.

The Department of Labor & Industries (L&I), an employer of choice is announcing an exciting opportunity for a Talent Management Consultant (Human Resource Consultant 3, non-perm) to join our Talent Management, within The Office of Human Resources (OHR).
If selected for this opportunity you would work alongside a dynamic team and work to ensure L&I remains compliant with all state and federal personnel laws, regulations, collective bargaining agreements, policies and best practices in the recruitment process.

Some of what you’ll do:
Required:
Six (6) years total of combined experience and education with a focus on human resources, social or organizational behavioral sciences, supervisory or leadership or closely related field.
OR
Bachelor’s degree with focus on business, human resources, social or organizational behavioral sciences, or related field.
AND
Two (2) years of human resource experience.
AND

For this position, teleworking is permitted part time and dependent upon business needs. There is an expectation to report to the office at least once a week. The assigned duty station for this position is Tumwater, Washington.
