Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves working with Congress to represent the Navy's interests, handling inquiries from lawmakers, and advising leaders on how legislation affects Navy programs.
You'll analyze policies, prepare responses and statements, and manage related projects to ensure clear communication.

You will serve as a LEGISLATIVE AFFAIRS COORDINATOR in the OFFICE OF THE ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF THE NAVY (MANPOWER AND RESERVE AFFAIRS), WASHINGTON DC.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting persuasive engagement with staff to influence perspective on related projects, missions, and interests.
Developing and coordinating responses to congressional inquiries regarding equities to ensure consistent messaging between parties, and, Evaluating policies and guidance for impact to programs and recommends courses of action to senior leadership.
