Full Job Description

You will serve as a LEAD SECURITY SPECIALIST in the SECURITY DEPARTMENT of SWFLANT KINGS BAY.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: reviewing and analyzing high-level nuclear weapon security policies and their implementation to ensure compliance.

  • You will assist the Security Operations Division Officer in a broad range of security programs, projects and operations.
  • You will monitor security force operations and performance, and conduct internal security audits, reviews and analysis.
  • You will conduct daily liaison with higher/adjacent/subordinate activities for security support and de-confliction of scheduling issues to promote production and maintenance as required.
  • You will perform duties of the SWFLANT Antiterrorism Officer responsible for development, implementation and assessment of antiterrorism measures as required.
  • You will plan and conduct comprehensive analytical analysis of established command, service and national policy, directives, and guidance to identify specified and implied tasks and requirements.
  • You will assist with the conduct and presentation of training for personnel in the Security Operations Division.
