Base salary range: $41,966 - $54,557

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team of dispatchers who handle emergency calls for police, fire, and medical services at a Navy installation in Washington, ensuring quick and coordinated responses to crises.
It requires staying calm under pressure while managing multiple communications and systems to keep everyone safe.
A good fit would be someone with prior experience in emergency dispatching or similar high-stakes coordination roles, who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys supporting public safety.
You will serve as a LEAD REGIONAL EMERGENCY RESPONSE DISPATCHER (OA) in the EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT of COMMANDER, NAVY REGION NORTHWEST.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in operating various systems such as Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) System, radio equipment, enhanced 911 telephone systems and fire and security alarm systems to respond / communicate to law enforcement.
Experience in processing multiple request (e.g., communicating with emergency caller while communicating with police or fire dispatch) for emergency services simultaneously.
Experience in coordinating emergency response in accordance with inter-agency procedures and installation organizations.
Experience in making workload adjustments to improve services rendered as incidents/emergencies occur.
