You will serve as a Lead Police Officer of NAVSTA MAYPORT FL SEC DET.

In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing law enforcement (LE), physical security (PS), antiterrorism (AT), and force protection (FP) functions; 2) Conducting preliminary and/or ongoing investigations of incidents; 3) Documenting law enforcement and security events and the issuance of citations; 4) Distributing workload to junior officers in accordance with priority and skill level.

  • You will ensure employees are in compliance with shift requirements for arming and personal protective equipment (PPE), and are provided briefings on installation security posture, safety, and use of deadly force.
