Site specific salary information as follows: Columbus, OH: $131,245- $170,624 To qualify for a Lead IT Specialist (INFOSEC) your qualifications must include: A.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position.

To qualify at the GS-14level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector.

Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement.

Creditable specialized experience includes: - Monitors performance of cybersecurity systems supporting incident handling, raising issues and recommending solutions.

Coordinates activities intended to resolve or mitigate damage associated with security incidents. - Design, tests, and refines tactics, techniques, and procedures for defensive cyber operation.

-Allows effective responses to malicious cyber activity within all environments, whether on premises, cloud, or disconnected operational technology.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Major Duties:

  • Leads, directs, and coordinates all aspects of defensive cyber operations in all DLA environments to include Infrastructure and applications in the cloud, on premise, or disconnected operational technology networks.
  • Serves as the technical expert for cybersecurity defense operations spearheading DLA security working groups and projects to improve DLA's cyber resiliency.
  • Serves as the technical expert for incident response and oversees the logging requirements across all environments ,designation of logs to ingest within DLA's Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solution.
  • Monitors performance of cybersecurity systems supporting incident handling, raising issues and recommending solutions.
  • Ensures compliance with all incident response related metrics established in the Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP)evaluator scoring metrics.
  • Leads a group of Information Technology Specialists engaged in providing the planning, development, implementation, execution and management of all aspects of cybersecurity incident response.
