Base salary range: $41,966 - $54,557

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team of firefighters at a Marine Corps air station in California, handling emergencies like fires, medical situations, and rescues while ensuring safety and training the crew.
It also includes maintaining the fire station and grounds during non-emergency times.

You will serve as a LEAD FIREFIGHTER in the Marine Corps - Fire and Emergency Services of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION MIRAMAR.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading and directing day to day emergency and non-emergency responsibilities, tasks, and duties of the workforce; AND proficient in fighting fires of structural, wildland, perform emergency medical, hazardous materials, urban search and rescue, emergency services communications, and fire prevention activities.
